Slip of the tongue or momentary confusion? In a television interview today discussing his religion, Sen. Barack Obama stated, "My Muslim faith."
Obama, speaking to ABC's George Stephanopoulos on "This Week," was talking about what he described as "smears" that were claiming he was a Muslim when he maintains he is a practicing Christian.
"Let's not play games," Obama stated. "What I was suggesting – you're absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith. And you're absolutely right that that has not come."
POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON
A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.
I remain pessimistic given the way BATF and the anti gun crowd have become tape worms in the guts of the Republic. - toad
I'm going with slip of the tongue myself. The poor guy was off teleprompter after all, and you know what happens when someone isn't telling him what to say.
I tend to think that Obambi has no real deeply held religious beliefs- the man is shallow and vapid. He's really just the political equivilant of most actresses- a pretty face who can recite other people's line's well enough, but when they speak on their own... hello, deep space!
'Sides, if Obama WERE this so-called radical Muslim, he'd have sawn Michelle and the kids' heads off for even LOOKING at a Christian Church.
Them psychos can't abide the house of the Lord. It's like pressing a cross to Dracula's cheek, their skins light on fire they hate it so much. Ain't no way he'd tolerate the stink of a Christian church on any of his family, let alone sit squirming in front of even a bigoted Christian like Wright.
I'm not too sure how it could be considered a "slip of the tongue". A slip of the tongue denotes a misspoken phrase or saying something that you didn't mean to say. Personally, my mouth couldn't form the words "my Muslim faith" as a slip of the tongue. There is absolutely no context that "my" and "Muslim faith" could ever be used together.
Now, I'm not going to claim that Obambi is some kind of jihadi or anything like that. I do, however, believe that he is conflicted and it can be attributed to his upbringing. Between his Muslim faith and the teachings of Rev. (hate whitey) Wright I'm sure that the Messiah is just as fucked up as a soup sandwich. All we can hope is that more folks come to that realization before it is too late.
