Ministry of Truth

Post by D5CAV »

INGSOC (English Socialism) comes to Amerika: https://www.theorganicprepper.com/disin ... nce-board/

But we get "Big Sister" instead of "Big Brother":
A “Disinformation Governance Board” has just been created and is going to be run by the Department of Homeland Security. Their primary goal is going to be to “police” what is deemed to be “misinformation” or “disinformation.”

No clarification has been given as of yet as to what this policing will mean, but it has been pointed out that the creation of this new Disinformation Governance Board is going to have the full strength of the DHS behind it.

DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said, “the goal is to bring the resources of (DHS) together to address this threat.”

Nina Jankowicz has been chosen to head up the new disinformation office as the executive director.
So what does "police" mean? Traffic ticket or jail time? Nice to know the "police" will be as kind, friendly, and understanding as those DHS police at the airport.

Not just "1984", but also "Animal Farm".
News about the new taxpayer-supported agency was released to the American public by Alejandro Mayorkas during the House Appropriations Subcommittee as the 2023 budget for the Department of Homeland Security was discussed. This came about after Representative Lauren Underwood asked Mayorkas what he was going to do to combat “misinformation campaigns” aimed at people who aren’t white.
Some animals are more equal than others.

But Big Sis has a Big Brother, so maybe this is Big Brother
He [Alejandro Mayorkas] not only revealed that the DGB was in the process of being created but said that there were a number of other “different offices engaged in this critical effort,” one of which is the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.
40 years delay, but it's coming. Go read your instruction manual: "1984".

A) If there was ever an argument for blocking someone online, that department, and all its employees should be…. Blocked…

Yeah, go with blocked. The Left seems to be back to full “End Game” mode - I suspect the indoctrination camps will be suggested next.

I guess people forgot how out of control
The bureaucracy was, until ‘96 or so.

Maybe randomly retiring 10% of the bureaucracy every year would help.

if ever there was a hill to die on this would it. Just not sure what practically that looks like. I reckon lawfare is going to be more effective that hoping for a group of Congress Critters to act.

One way to evaluate presidential candidates in 2024 is going to be on how high on their priority list disbanding this abomination is.

It's no accident that all this is happening after Elon Musk purchased Twitter. He has forced them to remove the mask in order to keep control of the flow of information. I am glad to see the left losing their minds over the Twitter purchase, but I am afraid for Elon’s physical safety. He is the driving force behind most of the advances being made in space exploration today, and that work is too important to be disrupted. And he's pissed off some dangerous people lately.

Putin is kind of occupied closer to home at the moment, but I wouldn't put it past him to send somebody after Musk; however, what I expect to see is a federal prosecution for some unrelated bullshit. A guy in his position, I am sure they can dig something up. See also, Three Felonies a Day, Licensed to Lie, etc.

keep an eye on the lawsuit they don't want you to know about or follow. Berenson v. Twitter.

Gotta keep the Section 230 shields up!
