I can't wait for his memoir to come out and the Biden administration to ignore his violations of gun laws.

The FBI will investigate...to prosecute the leaker and The Federalist.

While I am annoyed that someone broke the law to leak that. Turn about (at .01% volume) is just that. But you are correct in who will be pursued and prosecuted.

I think it's allowed for the dealer to release it.

may have just been store policy, but where I worked those were ONLY shared with LEO's doing a gun trace. Anyone caught photocopying or any such thing would have been fired. We had to get special permission and have the 4473 person make copies of the serial number portion (and that portion ONLY) for manufacturer sales promotion contests.
