So despite being nearly double the population density from whence the candidate pool is drawn (26% vs 13.4% of the U.S. population), they’re going to double said representation again? ‘Equal representation’ means cutting that portion in half, not doubling it. But I’m just a math guy.

Well, you have to admit that does seem to reflect the majority of the population.
