There are still enough people who believe we are a nation of laws and not a nation of men (or one of the 36 other genders) that people who act otherwise and don't face consequences are liable to end up festooning trees and lamp posts. Or someone could just plant some anti-Clinton evidence on their computer, hack it so it's leaked, and let the system take its course.
