Chicago, and LA Rags bite the dust--NYC Slimes next in line

Post by Bandito »

Holy moly! Happy days are here again!

The Tribune Co., parent of the Chicago Tribune (aka, Die Nationalsozialistische Volksblatt Chikago) and the LA Slimes, filed today for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Link

I don't suppose that the non-stop plastering of full-page photos of Obamarx all over the newspaper has contributed to any recent decline in circulation that drove the nails in the coffin.

(Then again, maybe I'm wrong. Copies of the Trib's souvenir edition of [strike]der Fuhrer[/strike], no [strike]the Messiah[/strike], no Obama--seem to be going for about $20 on Ebay.)

Meanwhile, the NY Slimes is reportedly borrowing against their real estate to cover cash flow. This from Pamela Geller at Atlas Shruggs, with futher links.
NY TIMES IS BROKE .....bwa ha ha ha ha
This is when I love what I do ................. those damn treasonous bastards are done, finished, cooked! How gorgeous. How delicious! JUSTICE! Watch them cannabalize themselves and tear through the little they have left, their assets. They are borrowing against their building (Manhattan real estate). Do you have any idea how much less it is worth now than say a year ago? That's what you get when you cover up for Democrat crooks, theives and socialists. Perhaps if they had exposed Dodd, Frank, Obama etc and their free market interference. The Dems rammed these forced lending policies down our throats in the nineties and the zeros. They prohibited any oversight over Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. Why didn't the Times tell the American people what wass really going down?

How long before the NY Slimes asks for a bailout? Watch out! We will march on Washington.

The only problem is that they and the Sun-Times were the only people who called Daley on his BS, which was then promptly ignored by everyone as soon as the next stupid high school "child" lost a courageous battle against a Metra express train. Much like with Vladimir Putin, the papers can write what they want. As long as the average Chicagoan doesn't read or can't comprehend what's going on in the papers (or reads the El editions like Red Line) and as long as the ward bosses and precinct committeemen can keep people voting correctly, the papers could print some of the greatest scandals and nothing will happen. Daley will point to columnists like Clarence Page and Dawn Trice Turner or Mary Mitchell and say "See? The papers love me!" even when they rip into him and people will believe it. Again, think of it like the Soviet Union. Each neighborhood fights the others.
Remember, folks, you can't spell "douche" without "Che."
