Not sure how many tries it will take, but my prediction that Trump getting nominated will result in us learning some loser's middle name still stands.

I predict he'll do what Obama did, pick a running mate that will make any would-be assassin say "Oh shit no!"

People are noticing Chris Christie positioning himself.....

Trump's ego couldn't handle having Ted Nugent as a running mate.

Ayup... The remainder were just certifiable nutjobs...
You act as if there were some functional difference between population A and population B.
Certainly the two are not mutually exclusive... But I actually spent time looking up all of the successful and unsuccessful assassins of US presidents a year or so ago and there were several that were full on nutjobs but their acts did not seem to be politically motivated and/or their political leanings were not established in the info that I could find about them. Granted I did use Wikipedia as my basis for looking them up, but I did follow some links and tried to find out a bit more than what was on those pages.

Then you're looking at it backwards.
You may have some difficulty establishing party affiliation for lunatics, but you will have no trouble whatsoever correlating party affiliation with lunacy. "Moonbats" is not just an affectionate happenstance nor stereotype; it is predictive.

I noticed. The first of several, I think.
