Madison County commissioner won't resubmit gun ordinance

DANIELSVILLE - A proposed firearms ordinance prohibiting Madison County residents from firing a gun within 300 feet of a home swiftly was shot down last week by commissioners and will stay that way, District 3 Commissioner Mike Youngblood said.
Youngblood, whose district includes the somewhat densely populated area bordering Clarke County, has no intention of submitting a revised version of the ordinance to the board of commissioners after more than 100 residents packed a meeting Monday to protest its original version, he said.

POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON
A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.
