Hopeless? Screwed? Inevitable decline of the US?

I keep following
Aaron Clarey's blog and it's pretty easy to be convinced that the United States is in this inevitable decline into poor decisions, impossible to fulfill debts, and governments that want to steal everything in your pocket.
Unfortuntaely a lot of this is not just rhetoric, it's just irrefutable data.
- Debt is debt, the US is getting more of it and not doing a thing about it.
- No 4 year solution is really possible in the near future that can ever hope to fix the debt problems
- Student debt bubble is occurring and no one seems to care
- Nothing is being addressed to fix the things that are needed, and what they are suggesting goes against basic economics (minimal wage, capital gains tax)
Still maybe want to move to the US, but that prospect is becomming less and less appealing every month that goes by. Sometimes I look at the policies and decision making some of the US politicians and political fanatics make and just go like "why bother? Might as well stay here, it's basically the same thing."
Is this inevitable decline unstoppable? Voting patterns and birth demographics between left and right wing people are tending towards the left, education is always left leaning.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the iWatch is the herald of the hipsterpocalypse.

Okay. Well... lessee... I do believe this is the first time I've seen this guy's blog, and, well. I can't say I'm impressed. In between things that are actually about the economy, he seems to care more about the minutia of other people's daily lives than your average high school cheerleader. In adult form, such people are especially inclined to be societal Chicken Littles.

Could it be, yes.
The gorilla in the room is the demographic collapse of the youth - and that's a global issue.
The US government could, easily, cover its debt based on the absurd amount of hard assets it owns. Frankly, it should liquidate - to turn those assets productive, as part of a balanced budget amendment, etc.
So, economically, the US can still be saved - and, if it does so, and growth and optimism returns, presumably, the birth rate will increase. (People don't think they can afford more kids, and there is a big push to live a life which "kids fit into", rather than focused on kids - which is unnatural.)
European culture hasn't broken that far - European women still want families and children, but all of the producers are kept impoverished.
Europe will never abandon Socialism, but if it stops actively engaging in warfare against economic success, I suspect their birth rate will rapidly increase.

I've noticed that there are more people doing "work arounds" and are "scoffing the laws" since there are so many many laws the powers that be can't enforce them. Some do it quietly others have told politicians to there face that if they pass a law they are going to face resistance. Both individuals and entities are doing this. Some of the people in upstate New York are starting to sound like Texans.
Kids are getting quite pissed at the femmes and PC twats that infest the schools, you have quite a few that will hate their guts when they become adults. More and more parents are pulling kids out of the public school system on top of that.
Obama has lost Saturday Night Live which is surprising to me.

Next Saturday will reveal whether that's true or not. One Swallow does not a Summer make, and someone at SNL could still be "touched".
"I'm sorry, sir, that won't happen again."
They'll have to do coded stuff, like Soviet Playwrights and Shakespeare, if Claire Asquith in "Shadowplay" is to be believed.
