Well, she is right, sort of. In a country run by Big O, lots of people wont be able to afford a car, or afford to own a home. So they actually wont have to worry about the cost of gas or mortgage.

(Current leftist dogma here is to raise the cost of living in houses with property taxes, so elderly people cant afford to stay in their lifelong homes, and thereby freeing up more homes to more "productive" members of society, which the government then helps with the costs. And I'm not making this up, this is what one of their leaders actually said was intended policy in an interview. )

If you're on public assistance, you should NOT get to vote. Since the results of voting have financial consequences, those receiving government aid should have no say in politics because it's a direct conflict of interest.
