Had some friends who are law students look at it, they're doubtful it's even real. Guess the law schools haven't gotten to cases like this yet. Since it's not on their "updated hourly" law website, it's a fake case. How would a fake case get into the system?

Oh, it's real and filed in the Federal Court. Having dealt with the Federal Court system before, I know how to get in through legal channels and check these things. If it's in the PACER system and has been assigned a case number, it's real. There are only two ways to get documentation into the system 1.) drop the documentation off with the file clerk at the closest Federal courthouse, and 2.) upload it to the system, which requires being a judge or administrative staff of the court, or being a lawyer admitted to the court.

BTW, the new electronic system where lawyers can upload their filings is why documents that haven't been ruled on by the judge or filed in physical form with the clerk do not have a stamp or any other ink marks. That's the case with the vast majority of the documentation on this case (and was true of most of the filings in my case as well).
