In any case, there needs to be teeth in swearing to uphold and defend the Constitution. When you swear to uphold it, you don't get to pick and choose which parts you want and which ones you don't - after all, it was their choice to take the position and if they couldn't abide by their swearing-in, they don't get the job.

Now the hard part is coming up with a way to enforce how they support and defend against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

It's high time these people stop using the Constitution and Bill of Rights as a punch line, or pieces of toilet paper.

I would think that perjury would cover violating an oath.

How does one go about filing charges in such a case? Who has standing? I have been given to understand that the DA has discretion on whether or not to prosecute, at least for state cases in Florida.

Perjury won't work because you won't be able to prove they knowingly told a lie under oath to a degree it would be criminal. Each state probably has its own procedures for removing people from office who violate their oath - and I can pretty much guarantee it's been rarely done.

If someone takes the time to look, it might even be in their state's Constitution.

I think it may very well take an internal police force, separate from the civilian one, tasked solely with dealing with Government criminal activity.

By treating as crimes much of what today passes for political shennanigans, we could shave away the worst excesses.

I'm not sure how today's system could effectively cope, given how badly it fails right now. We may have to build this kind of system from the ground up.

herndon VA is roadrunner... anyone with a RR account will get their IP from there...

i dont know who else might have ISP's out of there.

road runner business class and road runner fiber will also get IP's out of there, so it is entirely possible that it would trace back to a campaign office or something...

road runner is one of the few internet providers that will setup service quickly and not require deposits, so it is perfect for offices that will only be in place for 3 or 4 months...

after seeing the post i made about the rednecks for obama, i wouldnt put anything past his campaign...
