Brilliant choice. Absolutely perfect. Palin reinforces the conservative base AND grabs the feminist bloc.

Say what you want about McCain, but he has been playing the campaign the last month like a Stradavarius.

I suppose I could only be happier if it was Fred Thompson, but this appears to be a VERY smart choice.

Some lib on Democratic Underground was saying this won't help McCain with women voters at all when Hillary starts campaigning for Obama. That is *if* she campaigns for Obama; if anything her endorsements of Obama at the convention were a facade, and I have the feeling she'll be pretty quiet through the election.

Informed of the selection, a senior official with Barack Obama campaign questioned Palin’s executive experience.
This is just priceless. They have no shame!
Note to self: start reading sig lines. They're actually quite amusing. :D

HaHAHAHAH
Palin has more executive experience that the entire democrat ticket, no to mention the other half of the Republican ticket.

It's a very good choice. She's a great balance for the ticket

Actually, this also seems to be the angle the scandinavian (and european?) media is taking right now. :)
But they usually take their cues from the DNC.

I guess this way, too, the dolts who only "wanna voet fer sumthin hisstorick" can go for either party. It'll sort of split the idiots.
