Re: Former Democratic speech-writer calling it quits
You know, there has never been a clean election. Even as far back as Washington, Adams, Jefferson, and the rest, there was partisanship. Back then though, the papers OPENLY acknowledged who they were for. I'd even accept a disclaimer on the papers saying, we support candidate soandso.
one can be a Democrat, or one can choose to be an American.

Good thing we have this place w here we can kick off our shoes, pour a glass of liquor and beat up liberals. The Quiet Man wrote:Frankly, as disgusted as I am with dems and the media I am even more so with my fellow citizens for being so easily led by a group of America hating used car salesmen.

BTW, it ain't over yet. I could be wrong, but I fully expect that final results won't be what the MSM has projected.

True, HTRN, slavish loyalty to Big Brother is the most important factor to avoiding the ministrations of the Ministry of Love

Yes, there are a ton of undecided voters, they are mostly extremely poorly informed and they will end up deciding who to vote for based on who has the most yard signs (or a friend of their's who has one) the commercial that stuck in their head, some random comment that they heard somewhere including some catch phrase that they like/don't-like (gun control, socialism, universal health care, racist, whatever), because their boyfriend/girlfriend likes one candidate or the other or some other random thing.FelixEstrella wrote:.......There are still undecided voters left? And they're gonna be swayed by a slick 30 minute infomercial? What a waste of money! And how stupid are voters really."
It is sad, but it is true.

ACORN recruits no doubt. Bah! The uninformed should *not* be encouraged to vote as their vote is worse than an informed vote. But the Dems know that and are banking on it. Shame on them.

Fixed it for yaThe Quiet Man wrote:If this had been penned by a republican speech writer (cough) Scott McClellan(cough)or other insider it would be leading all news casts and front page of all newspapers.

Even the leftists thought he was a douche bag until he started to support their causes.randy wrote:Fixed it for yaThe Quiet Man wrote:If this had been penned by a republican speech writer (cough) Scott McClellan(cough)or other insider it would be leading all news casts and front page of all newspapers.

The avalanche has already started. It is too late for the pebbles to vote.

Thank you sir...I almost forgot about that particular assclown. WOW...and wonder of all wonders...he was unavoidable for comment after he wrote a book that shit on his former employer...the MSM couldn't get enough of their new darling. If I remember right it was because he was so courageous for telling it like it is about the evil George Bush. Funny how when a liberal insider points the finger of accusation at her employers it's viewed as sour grapes and not as courage...and it's also not reported!randy wrote:Fixed it for yaThe Quiet Man wrote:If this had been penned by a republican speech writer (cough) Scott McClellan(cough)or other insider it would be leading all news casts and front page of all newspapers.

So she had a Jerry McGuire moment, realized she hated everything about her chosen profession, and burned all her bridges. I honestly hope she finds a vocation she enjoys. Life is too short to spend it bitter and spiteful.
That said, if she thinks anyone will miss her, she's sorely mistaken.
