Looking for a post Heller Update

Post by tcourtplayer »

As the title states, I'm just looking or an update on the various lawsuits that were filed after Heller. Does anyone (particularly those located in IL and CA where most of the lawsuits were aimed) have any updates on what is going on with them specifically? This is of course besides CA giving the SCOTUS the bird by trying to pass even more laws that they know are directly against the spirit of Heller.

tcourtplayer: Just because the movies say they will be dumb and slow doesn't make it true.
JAG: WOW!!!

most of the Chicago burbs have repealed or stopped enforcing their laws... but the Chicago proper case is still on... the San Fran case is still ongoing too...

Also just had a prominant author arrested in MA for possession of guns without license... trick is, the lifetime license was repealed by the state and changed to a 8 year license, but the state didnt bother telling anyone... so you can expect this one to go to court too...

A site that may have links to what you are looking for is gunlaws.com. This link is to one of the many pages posted by Alan Korwin. Alan was a guest of the court for the actual hearing and this page lists his latest book for sale, THE HELLER CASE: Gun Rights Affirmed!. He tells it like it is.

And no, I do not make any money on this referral. But Alan is an acquaintance of mine.
