Muslims are not the enemy. Radical Muslims who preach "convert or die" are the enemy.

I have a classmate at Boise State University who is a Muslim from Morocco. He is a good guy, hard worker, and is tolerant of other people.

Exactly...just because you know one guy who may very well be a good guy and is tolerant of other people doesn't mean that he is the rule rather than the exception. I wonder just how tolerant he would be if he were in NYFC or LA where he wouldn't be in such a small minority. Somehow I don't think that Boise is much of an Arab enclave. In any event, while all muslims are not necessarily the enemy, they know the enemy and they do nothing about it. They say little or nothing about the actions of the so-called minority of islamofacists and even though they are not all pushing for Sharia in this country...none of them are standing against it either. Give that some thought for a moment. The radicals are making the push, but the majority agrees with them and is more than willing to go along for the ride because the destination is the same whether you sit in the front of the bus or in the back.

To be a Muslim is to accept that Muhammad is the perfect example of righteousness who is to be emulated. Muhammad says, via many "revelations from Allah" that

1. apostates must be put to death
2. “people of the scriptures” (i.e. Jews and Christians) should be allowed to convert to Islam, or be protected by “dhimmah”, i.e. second-class status and subjugation.
3. other non-believers must covert to Islam.

My question: is there such a thing as a "moderate Muslim" who doesn't believe in the second class status of Christians and Jews, who can accept religious freedom or atheism? That, in the case of Islam, is the very definition of an apostate, and true Muslims believe such a person must be put to death.

Ergo, there is no such thing as a "moderate Muslim" or such a person IS NOT a Muslim, perhaps like a Protestant is not a Catholic.

When I was in college I had a friend who was muslim. Shabir was a very nice guy and a great help in Physics. However I remember one conversation that got uncomfortable really fast. We were discussing the end of the world and the return of the last imam and I made the mistake of asking if he would try to kill me if I were still an unbeliever at that point, I am, by the way Catholic and this was a Catholic Univ. His response: "I hope it would never come to that."

And that was from what I would call a very relaxed and moderate Muslim. Kinda freaked me out at the time.

As for knowing who are enemy is, all we have to do is look, the ones fighting the Islamofaciasts are the good guys. Trouble is, I don't see many of them...

yes he is... and no age does not matter, once someone is a Muslim, they remain one up to and after death. at least that is according to the laws
