Tuesday, October 14, 2008

Tonight, October 14 the Lancaster City Council will hear a proposal from Mayor Richard Gray (D) that will require gun owners to report a lost or stolen firearm within a 72-hour period. This law not only violates Pennsylvania’s state preemption laws, but it makes innocent law-abiding victims into criminals.

Please make plans to try and attend tonight’s meeting to voice your opinion on this illegal issue. Please remember that public comment is reserved for citizens who have called ahead to address the City Council.

October 14, 2008 - 7:30 p.m.
Council Chambers - Southern Market Center
100 South Queen St. Lancaster, PA 17603[/center]

You can reach the City Council Administrator (717) 291-4785 or by e-mail at jspleen@cityoflancasterpa.com for public comment. If you cannot attend, please contact the Mayor Office at (717) 291-4701 or by e-mail at mayorsoffice@cityoflancasterpa.com and ask him to withdraw his proposal!!
POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON

A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.

I remain pessimistic given the way BATF and the anti gun crowd have become tape worms in the guts of the Republic. - toad

Lancaster is a suburb of Philidelphia.
