I'm sorry, I shouldn't laugh, but what can you do...
I dont think a single politician here that wants to ban private care actually uses the public healthcare like anyone else. They either go to one of the few private hospitals there is, go abroad, or just call the chief of the hospital and get first in line. Because it's like the money quoute in the article:
Bosses said it prevented them from leapfrogging NHS patients and enabled them to return to work more quickly.
The thought that they should wait in line doesn't even occur to them. The alternative to private care is to simply leapfrog "the common folks".
