Yeah, I can live with the color scheme, but holyshitballs, the avatar/username/profile on the right is annoying.
HTRN, I would tell you that you are an evil fucker, but you probably get that a lot ~ Netpackrat

Yeah, I know that it's annoying.
The old theme hasn't been maintained, and is no longer compatible with the current version of the forum software.
Before I go and spend a couple of days screwing with it, feel free to head over to https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/styles-2 and look at the styles that actually ARE compatible with the 3.1.x version of the software.

I went through over a dozen pages on Bobby's link, but the ones I liked the most seemed to all be on the first page.
The one I probably liked the best was the "CA Vintage" theme:
https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/styl ... e/demo/3.0
I thought this one was okay, too:
https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/styl ... bb_3.0%29/
One thing I'd like to request is that red links still show. Due to the issue with non-contrasting links, at least a couple of us have been turning some of our links red manually, and I'd just as soon those links remain visible in the old posts. I picked red just because it seemed likely that they'd still be visible even if the colors were fixed/changed later on.

Ah. That's why I couldn't tell who was posting anything.HTRN wrote:Yeah, I can live with the color scheme, but holyshitballs, the avatar/username/profile on the right is annoying.
And what do the scrolling vs non scrolling icons beside the thread titles mean?
Note to self: start reading sig lines. They're actually quite amusing. :D

NPR, adjusting the stylesheet to have visited linked appear a difference color is pretty trivial. Much less intensive than fscking around and rebuilding an entire template.

Are there any plans to bring back any of the optional styles under the user control panel?
The new default style sheet is honestly pretty horrific to my old eyeballs.

NVG,
Follow the link, find one that doesn't make your eyeballs bleed that is compatible with the 3.1.x version, and I'll happily upload it for you and others to select as an option.
