Yes, I firmly believe Charlie Rangel *should* perform mandatory national service, from the inside of a cell.
(In case anyone doesn't know, because of his skin tone, party affiliation and location, he's gotten a pass on a few wee scandals that would have had a paler man with a different party affiliation in jail for fraud and tax evasion, among other things.)
