Maybe he's a lawyer. Did you ever think about that?

But there's no paperwork involved to interpret, so no, I doubt he's a lawyer - maybe a politician trying to prove how brave he is???

It wouldn't change the math.
But I'd be happier about any untoward outcome.
Never happen though. Professional courtesy, and all that.

No, according to a Squadron Officer School classmate of mine (who quit the bar to join the AF as an aircraft maintenance officer, and fought hard to keep from being assigned as a JAG) it applies to venomous snakes as well.
You can tell if a lawyer was driving down the road by looking for rattlesnakes sunning themselves in the middle. Normal people there are tire tracks over the snake. If it was a lawyer then there are skid marks leading up to the snake as the lawyer locked up his brakes, due to professional courtesy.

I thought it was that you could tell the difference between a dead lawyer in the road and a dead skunk in the road by the skid marks in front of the skunk.

Wow, going from "Objection!" to "Hmmm, yeah, if you could all come in on Saturday for a 16 turn 12 turn 8 that'd be greaaaaat" seems like a terrible penance.
