You read the headline and start giggling even though the situation is not really funny, but/and even after you read the whole thing you are still smiling.

Quick call PETA!
It is kind of like those scenes from a "A Fish Called Wanda" in which the animal lover keeps trying to kill the old lady but keeps killing her Yorkies instead.
I like dogs, even. Poor things were out trying to take a dump and bam, like an A-10 on a Taliban. She needs to call Obama....for leftovers.

She behaves as if hawks hunt out of malice rather than necessity. I'm surprised that BOTH dogs were injured in the attack though...most raptors, when at a disadvantage, will usually break free. I wonder if one of the dogs was down and the other attempted to defend its buddy?
Something similar happened a few years ago when a falconer friend was hired to catch birds in central park. His harris hawk attacked a Chi-wa-wa. (I have no idea how to properly spell that and won't even attempt it.)
I hope she DOES try and hunt a hawk...and fall in violation of both the Migratory Bird Act and the Lacey Act.

Typical liberal, they want to dictate everything to everyone else until THEY get effected, then they don't want to follow their own advice!!
"A conservative is a liberal who's been mugged."

If one of those things went after my cat, I'd absolutely declare open season on them, with SSS rules in effect. One reason we keep ours inside up here is on account of all the %$^*&&*($% garbage vultures (aka our national symbol) that are everywhere. It's less of a problem in Anchorage than it was living on the sound.

Good grief. How is that woman so dumb? That eagle thinks your precious little yappy dog is a tasty snack. It's called nature and something higher on the food chain ate your dog.

I Kind of got turned on by her human reaction. Not many girls in the "Pretty business" would have the balls to do that.

Have you had a problem with eagles attacking pets, NPR? Around here, the bald eagles mainly eat fish and carrion.
I suspect the attacker in this case was probably a red tailed hawk rather than an eagle.

Calls to mind that scene with Sandra Bullock in The Proposal running around in rubber boots and a robe trying to get the future mother-in-laws moppet dog back from the Eagle.

retard.
The ugly on the inside is showing, not that I think she is pretty on the outside either.
I love the "I'm angry so its ok to kill something" meme but if I tell her about the venison in my freezer...
