Only safe way to wash a cat I've ever seen. I have often taken our current housecat into the shower with me but I wear GLOVES, HEAVY CLOTHING and OLD SHOES during the event.

I still chuckle when I remember the time when my Missus was in the tub when her curious Siamese slipped off the edge into the water. Most gawd-awful two-toned screaming you could imagine.

Ripoff.
We had one of those growing up, but it was a front-loading Maytag with a glass door.
And they work better with two cats; they more or less act as buddy swimmers for each other.
