Larry Correa fisks a gun control article.

Oh dear ghods, what a mis-match. If the anti-gun article were a damp kleenex, Larry's response is an M829A3 out of a 55 caliber long barrel.

Paw Paw is correct. It's usually at that point that I get defriended on Facebook, while the fellow travelers gossip about what a bad person I am, daring to use facts and logic to win an argument.

Imagine! Using facts and logic to win an argument about ----- Facts and Logic!

We aren't, after all, arguing the relative tastiness of, say, Nutella v Ovaltine.
The use of the word "but" usually indicates that everything preceding it in a sentence is a lie.
E.g.:
"I believe in Freedom of Speech, but". . .
"I support the Second Amendment, but". . .
