Jericho, jeeze man, where was this Michaels, downtown Beirut? That kind of insane behavior is something I'd expect in say, White Castle in an "downmarket urban area", not in a craft store that's typically in middle class suburbs.

Sounds like a typical inner-ring suburb around Chicago like Oak Park or Berwyn. Yes, you get the "commuters" from the big city who shop outside their city limits because of lower sales taxes but you also get the plain f'ed-in-the-head locals, too. Then again, my few years in the suburbs showed that terrible customers were pretty much universal.

Yuuup.

This Michael's in particular is near Little Rock if I'm not mistaken, but I've heard similar stories from other former retail workers all over the place.
