It is now Climate Change instead of Global Warming. If your theory is proven wrong just change the name.

The Gorons are claiming that the colder weather is proof of global warming.

Then warmer weather is proof of global cooling?

No, warmer weather is proof of global warming.
Cooler weather is also proof of global warming.
And I'm pretty sure that if the weather doesn't change, that's proof of global warming too.

That's the great thing with having all the answers first, the questions and facts really dont matter, the answer is always the same.

It's a self correcting system.
Too much CO2 causes more plant growth to suck up the CO2 which eliminates greenhouse gasses which causes cooling which makes ice and snow which breaks off giant tree limbs in my driveway!!! causing less plantlife which leaves CO2 to cause warming. It occurs annually and used to be called "seasons".

Five degrees here in Parkersburg this morning, six below with the wind.

It was 14 degrees (F) when I left work this morning at 0700. Wind chill was 5. This is the "sunny" south, and I want my damn global warming!

We had pressure transmitters and level indicators freezing up all night, even with everything running. Makes for a long and unpleasant night.
