Looks like they do blood screening prior to donation.

My guess would be the whackos at La Leche have something to do with this. I had the misfortune of staying at a hotel where there was a La Leche convention. What a weird bunch of militant boobie-milk advocates and their gelded menfolk they were.

Aesop, if they screen the donors why would you care? Now, I don't think pasteurizing it is a good idea - babies are meant to digest intact breast milk protein, not denatured ones.

But, why not get a, tested, au pair, etc, and give her a shot to induce lactation?
