20/20 for Jan 31

Post by Rod »

ABC's 20/20 is advertising the show for next week. Another hit piece about kids and guns. My wife is refusing to let me watch because we don't have enough money for a new tv. I want to watch to enumerate the falsehoods they spread. Oh well, just a warning.

 Reminds me of Col. Cooper's comment about the four rules and practicing snapshots in front of the TV...

Oh, for Breitbart to take these "news shows" on.....
Or better yet, have libertarian 20/20 alum John Stossel get to have his rebuttal at the end.

Aren't they the same outfit that faked the explosion of a Chevy truck? If not, I know they have a history of having faked something to sensationalize a news story. They have zero credibility. None.
There must be an end to this intimidation by those who come to this great country, but reject its culture.

IIRC, that was Dateline NBC.

ABC News had a segment last night on the "study". They showed step by step what they did, in a classroom. Eddie Eagle repeated, teacher talk, police talk; then they put to empty guns in places kids would find and "discreetly" directed the kids to the area. Two kids examined one of the guns, one kid pulled the trigger, then they started semi-yelling for an adult. Set up with a pre-ordained conclusion.

Reminds me of the "tests" they did after Va. Tech. Gave untrained people airsoft guns in concealed carry holsters, covered them with sweaters that were hard to manipulate, put them in the front of a classroom. Then they had an "active shooter" come in. The stooges were dead meat since it was obvious who was the untrained target. They didn't use a licensed concealed carry holder equipped as he/she normally was.

So the 20/20 thing started out about the Armed Citizen Project and interviewed several women who had been given training and home defense guns by that group.

One of them came on a podcast I listen to and recapped how it went:

How the first 20/20 filming went:

How the second went, after the first apparently didn't have any choice bits to make people look bad with, so they asked the women to let them film in their homes with their kids, and they said no.
