Ken Block Smokes San Francisco

Post by Darrell »

This video is making the rounds on the web, might as well post it here--Ken Block drives a 650 hp rally car through the streets of San Francisco. Dang, he really shreds it, too:

Oh, that looks like fun. Kinda brings back my salad days. 8-)

At one point he gets air while going SIDEWAYS. I'm surprised he didn't roll the car.

They did multiple takes for at least some sections based on the existing tire-marks in some shots especially the figure eight around the barrels on the hill. I wonder what to costs to have the bridge shut down for something like that?

If I hit the lottery, I'm becoming a rally driver.

THAT was impressive. A bunch of HP for a car that size. And 4 wd to boot. Do it on gravel, with no guard rails up to 14,110 feet and you have the pikes Peak Hill Climb. Even with the fires this year they are still going to hold the race to the clouds sometime later this summer. Isn't that crookedest road in San Fran a one way going downhill???

Why do I have Bill Cosby's 'Driving in San Francisco' sketch running through my mind right now?
