And it was almost the SAME cost as using cheaper foreign supplies. EVERYTHING used to make these homes were made in America, including the nails (which jammed the nail guns FAR less than the cheaper nails made in China).

Awesome. I love it.

Here's the list that they buried in a blog entry. It should be hotlinked at the top of their page.

Personally, I don't mind paying a little extra for items to be made in the USA. For cheap tuna or albacore, I get the BEST prices at the local Ralphs or Vons markets, picking up a tin for $1 each - which per ounce is actually CHEAPER than the cat food when the cost per ounce is figured in!!

When available, I MUCH prefer buying stuff in the USA! The problem is finding others that not a LOT of companies are being picky about who their suppliers are and what products they're supplying. I LOVE buying American-Made products, especially over Chinese products!!

I would be amazed if they did that, unless they salvaged some parts. AFAIK, some HVAC controls/Refrigeration components aren't made in the US anymore** - and the Mexican replacements were completely useless, and are now only somewhat useless.

** That stuff wasn't on their list.
