To the guy renting the house across the street from me, whose car alarm has been going off constantly for at least the last 20 minutes, and frequently sounds at other times....

You know, your next door neighbor almost always has a nice Dodge diesel pickup in his driveway, that he doesn't let get more than a couple years old before he replaces it. The guy across the other street (he's got the corner lot) has a nice, lifted, late model pickup with lots of chrome and lights. My own small fleet isn't really lacking either, and there's several other eligible vehicles in the immediate area. Do you REALLY think, that a car thief scoping out our neighborhood with grand theft auto on his mind, is going to bother with the 1989 Chevy Blazer? Really?

I hear a tazer will do wonders for stopping an annoying car alarm.

My truck has the Ford anti-theft system similar to Jeep's Sentry system, so I'm not really worried. Actually, a thief would be doing me a favor, probably...

This is the same guy who tried to drag me into the fence line war he started with his next door neighbor, even though I have had ZERO interaction with him in the many months that he's lived there. Neighbor caught him tearing down the survey lines he put up for the 8 foot spite fence that is now built, and called the cops when the guy got in his face. Supposedly the douchebag tried to tell the cops that I was part of a conspiracy to vandalize his rig... Which grows increasingly tempting, but considering my degree of familiarity with that body style of Chevy truck, it's not like I'd need any help.

Wrist rocket + small piece of spark plug porcelin + window. At least you'll know why the alarm is going off. And to the cops, it'll look like an attempted B&E and not a vandalism . Not that I know about such things.
