The Iranian Islamic Republic Navy scores a significant victory in sinking a large warship for the first time!
...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".

Calling the Kharg a "warship" is more than a little generous - she started life as a British fleet oiler...

FIFY.

I would even go so far as to argue that deadly force by the homeowner was justified even if he had realized they were using paintball guns. Loss of an eye would seem to meet the necessary criteria for threat of grave bodily harm.

Being a target is part of war. Although now it has moved on from being a target to being an artificial reef.

The Zohan egressed from an Israeli submarine via torpedo tube and side-kicked a hole in the Kharg below the waterline. The ship spontaneously combusted from sheer admiration.

Walt Bergers procedure for cleaning rifle barrels - note, at the time Walt was a big fan of moly coated bullets(personally, I think Danzac is a better coating)

1. Push one patch wet with Kroil Oil through the barrel
2. Repeat step 1.
3. Push one dry patch through the barrel.
4. Repeat step 3.
5. Push one patch wet with Butch's Bore Shine through the barrel.
6. Repeat step 5.
7. Let the barrel soak for 5 to 10 minutes.
8. Push one dry patch through the barrel.
9. Repeat step 8.
10. Using short strokes back and forth push one patch wet with USP or JB Bore Paste through the barrel.
11. Push one patch wet with Kroil through the barrel.
12. Repeat step 11 twice.
13. Push one dry patch through the barrel.
14. Repeat step 13 three times.
15. Use bore scope or visually inspect muzzle for copper fouling.
16. If copper is present repeat steps 10 through 15.
17. If you are storing the rifle push one patch wet with quality gun oil through the barrel.

Went to Reno Guns & Range after class this evening. Fired a couple magazines from a full auto AK, and 3 from an FA Uzi. Towards the end I started to get confident enough to try for head bursts with the Uzi. Could have easily kept going but the 5 mags was just short of $300, so box checked, decided to call it a night and get some dinner. Back at the hotel in the casino now... If the company sends me back for the second class, I am going to try to get them to put me up at the Holiday Inn Express (which is next door to the range) instead of the stupid casino.

I'm having some remodeling done - remove 99 yo lath and plaster, put in insulation, some outlets, sheet rock, etc.

The remodelers found a 1925 Marbles Outdoors catalog in the wall. It's in rough shape, so I haven't tried looking at much of it yet, but there was a broken shell extractor for 75 cents.

Also found a very old 1/2" socket chisel over a window header. The handle is trash, but the blade is still quite sharp.

I keep hoping for a bag of silver or gold, but so far no luck. One more ceiling to go, though, so here's hoping.
Note to self: start reading sig lines. They're actually quite amusing. :D
