I just came across something interesting Terminus, one of a half dozen companies to spring up in the last decade offering Rem footprint actions, offers a quick change barrel option on their action. While not something slick, like now defunct Dakota Arms "Traveler" system, it is still one of the few action makers to offer any kind of quick change setup.

I just learned that the Black hills institute sells life sized cast of the skull of "Stan", one of the most complete TRex skeletons ever found. They are not cheap at $18k.

They also sell complete skeletons. Prices in the low six figure range. Sounds obscene, until you realize the original sold for $31 million, to a museum in the middle east.

The children are with M-I-L for the weekend so SWMBO and I can attend Garth Brooks concert. We took the opportunity to go out and see a movie in the theater sans kiddos last night, if you haven’t seen Top Gun Maverick yet, it’s one I’d highly recommend seeing in a theater if you can. I have a decent setup at home, but couldn’t get away with the sound levels necessary to do this one justice. American exceptionalism as a thing in this day and age? Be still my beating heart!

With a side of religious persecution thrown in for good measure.
