I've been in the hospital since yesterday at 6 AM or else MY count would be over 1000 already

I always thought posting blather was the primary purpose behind this forum...

Great job! It took me a couple years to make "active shooter"...who knows, maybe I'll get there faster the second time.

I must be missing out on whole other levels of the forum experience. I couldn't tell you if I had 100 posts or 1,000 or 10,000. Whether I was an Active Shooter, a Case Shiner, or a "Hold my beer and watch this!" poster.

Like Sherlock Holmes in the Arthur Conan Doyle books, I think my brain has just so much room for details. So I fill it with other useless details. :D
Note to self: start reading sig lines. They're actually quite amusing. :D

(Yes this post count silliness discussion is inspiring me to display a bit of a foolishness you see on sites where they care about post counts. You get a lot of idiocy, and post whoring.)

I really don't care about post count number (think I was a "case shiner" before the stat wipe), but I really do like the "on a list somewhere" title.

Deja vu all over again....

It's been a few years, but maybe this is a good time to remind everybody that blatant post whoring for the purpose of increasing one's post count, was previously agreed to be grounds for resetting that user's post count back to zero.

It would be nice to have a current listing of the ranks posted someplace where it can be found.

There were some examples of what I mean, in the thread that I linked.
