The F-4 was the first aircraft I ever sat in. I was three years old, and my dad let me sit in the pilots seat of the plane that he worked on as its dedicated crew chief. 13 years later, that plane got sent to the boneyard and the F-16s came in. 19 years from that, our ANG unit no longer has a flying mission.Lokidude wrote:I grew up, and still live, about 20 minutes from Hill AFB. The airshow every year is a pretty big deal, and they have a neat museum that I still love to visit. The neatest part of the airshow, in my opinion, is when they open up some of the planes and let you wander through. We've walked through cargo planes, sat in a couple helicopters, and, treat of treats for me, I actually got to sit in the cockpits of an F4, an F15, and an A10.

Remember, folks, you can't spell "douche" without "Che."
