OK, Then, What Are Your Favorite 60's Cars?
Again, something obtainable by the common man. No high dollar, Euro stuff. I'll go with the Ford Galaxie convertible, any year, plus the 1969 Pontiac GTO.
There must be an end to this intimidation by those who come to this great country, but reject its culture.

I had a '68 GTO, how I loved that car. And how I wish I still had it!

A used Austin-Healy 3000 MkII. Of course, it was BRG. I loved that car.

It's probably cliche, but I love the 67 or so GTO, especially convertibles.
When I was younger I liked the 70's GTO's, but as I've gotten wiser I've seen how much better the older, bigger GTO's are more classy.
I also like the 67 or so Camaros and Firebirds.

Fire engine red '69 Triumph Spitfire, senior year in high school and first year in college. Dad had the '65 Galaxie 500 convertible .............that was fun too...

First-gen Camaros, particularly 68-69. Corvettes ending in 62.

Good call on the Galaxie, skb. The pre-muscle cars (high-performance full-size sedans predating the '64 GTO) like the Galaxie, the Chevy Impala, and even the Catalina with the 421 Tri-Power are often overlooked.
I sure wouldn't say no to a 2-door '64 Impala SS with the 409 W-motor (Dad had one, midnight blue, giddy up 409), or a Galaxie convertible. After that, maybe a '65 Chevelle SS (327, not 396, gimme that small-block shriek), '68 Skylark GSX Stage I, or a sleeper like a Dodge D-Dart, or something off the beaten track like maybe a '67 Cougar GT. Really, there are so many cool domestic cars from the '60s I don't think I could list them all.
