I remember this program from the early 80s and I thought it was pretty good then. Now ABC is remaking it and it looks like it might be a winner. Besides, it has Elizabeth Mitchell and Morena Baccarin who are both about as hot as they come...and Joel Gretsch who always does an outstanding job whatever he is playing. I got high hopes for this one!

I remembered and enjoyed the original series. As far as these actresses, I have no idea who they are. Hell, I still think Kim Novak was hot (think "Bell, Book, and Candle").

Getting old is hell.

How are they going to manage to make this not about the Obama administration?

They're either going to go to ridiculous lengths with in-credible plot lines to blur the obvious parallels (elitist overlords promising their adoring devotees solutions to all of mankind's problems, while secretly plotting our demise), or by some miracle, the backlash will have begun in earnest before the end of the first season, and ratings will soar (which won't necessarily stop them from cancelling it).
