Actual (short) review of Gran Torino

Most politically incorrect drama ever. Could not have been written better, or directed better, in my opinion.

Y'all will love it. Walt (Eastwood's character) could have been a contributor on this board, and I think we all know at least one Walt in the outside world. Kind of Dirty Harry meets Grumpy Old Men meets Sean Connery in the Untouchables.

Go see it now, and bring a tissue.

Heard from someone at my unit that it was nominated for an academy award.

Don't know about the tissue but the 1911 will get it's own seat.

Maybe he is a contributor...

I wonder was the choice of the name "Walt" accidental or ironic?

First movie (outside of Pixar's offerings) I've wanted to see in a *LONG* time.

I just saw it tonight with my parents. It's great.

I really can't recommend it enough.

The Boss and I went to see it this evening, and we both really enjoyed it. She said it's better than "Million Dollar Baby".

Never having seen Million Dollar Baby I can't comment on whether it is better. I never had a desire to see that movie for some reason.
