In other words, good choice for redbox or netflix, but not worth ten bucks to watch it in the theater..

I haven't been in a theater in years. Three years, I think. I've got a nice TV at home, and I can hit the pause button whenever I choose.

Maybe if Hollywood would make a movie worth paying the toll, I'd give the big screen another chance.

It has to be worth seeing on IMAX and/or 3D, otherwise I'm fine. SWMBO bought a 80" TV to go with my sound system, so for anything less, we might was well wait for Redbox or Netflix.

Just trying to think, the last movie I went to, specifically to see a movie, was Alamo. Since then, the only time I've been to the theater was to take the grandkids to see Cars (and I think I enjoyed it as much as they did.

2006 was the last time I was in a theater.

I broke a self-imposed exile of 20+ years to go see the first new Star Trek movie when it came out. I found myself wishing I'd continued the exile.

The last movie I went to see was Godzilla. I liked it, but then I'm a fan of the genre.

Before that? The Avengers, which had my mouth hanging open in shock - not many films open with the leveling of a coupla city blocks, and then promptly go up from there on the Awesome scale. Turns out that it was also the first movie my youngest nephew has seen in a theater. He couldn't shut up about it to his grandma.

The kids wanted to go see Lucy, so I went with them. It's like it had some interesting ideas, but it didn't know where to go with them or how to end the movie.

I half expected some English policemen to drive up in the prelude to the attack on the castle and arrest King Arthur before the credits rolled.

On a scale of 1 to "Ultraviolet" how so-bad-it's-good is it?
