I owe that guy a beer.

I'm also glad I wasn't drinking anything myself when I clicked over.

"Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man."

Seriously, but apparently it's OK for insurers to pay for dick pills?

And this is one of those 2 steps back portions of the republican/conservative debate.

Sure. Since when is medical insurance not supposed to pay for making the insured's body work properly? Birth control is intended to make it not work properly, so why would you expect insurance to pay for it?

Because it is medicine.

There are lots of medicines that insurance won't cover, many for far sketchier reasons. But they don't generate the same hue and cry.

So is plastic surgery.

Which is also covered under medical insurance nowhere.

And there is no medicine required to not have babies, unless, like Fluke, you have a [strike]con[/strike]genital condition that prevents keeping your knees together.

And for the record, health care is not a human right.
You're entitled to what you can acquire by legal means for your own self. No more, and no less.
Just like cheeseburgers and Cadillacs.

Pregnancy IS covered by health coverage, up to its termination. Birth control is a cure for this condition. Slutshaming as a political tool is absolutely reprehensible, and those that partake can go fuck themselves.

"Healthcare is not a right" - tell the strawman I said "Hi"

Pregnancy, not being an unhealthy condition, it requires nor demands no "cure".
Trying to shame anyone so bereft of the concept of shame would be pointless.
Pointing and laughing is merely a moment's entertainment.
Much like the activity that got her the notoriety.

I did.
He said that he got his brain from the Wizard, and noted that wasn't covered under his insurance either, yet somehow he managed to overcome the lack without sticking up Dorothy, skinning the Cowardly Lion, or agitating for a taxpayer-subsidized free hourly bus line from Munchkinland to the Emerald City.
And suggested throwing a bucket of water on Fluke, just in case it works...
