HS, I don't know if you can catch any American cable TV shows, but there's one on History Channel called Counting Cars. A Las Vegas custom car/bike shop called Count's Kustoms, run by Danny Count, builds wild rides each week, and has misadventures along the way. On one recent episode, they happened to find one of the members of Five Finger Death Punch with a broken bike at the side of the road, so they got him running again. He then visited Danny's tattoo parlor to get some work done on his tats. You might enjoy it.

Another reason why doing good deeds for people can result in a commercial/company WIN (if you let them know) down the road. And now the tattoo shop will get more word-of-mouth advertising which it might never have received at that level. If I had such a business, I'd be helping people all the time, since folks will remember someone doing GOOD THINGS and then recall them if asked or someone mentions certain things related to your business - which will immediately come to mind with a very positive impression!!!
THAT'S good advertising!!!

If you are a real biker - I don't mean an outlaw necessarily, but one of the people for whom it's a way of life rather than a fashion statement you never, ever pass by someone broken down at the side of the road.
I'm not surprised to find out that hot rodders feel the same way.
Darrel - we don't have TV of any kind but I'll look for that on YouTube, thanks.

The show is on History Channel's website. They do have streaming episodes, but I don't know if it goes back that far--turns out that episode premiered last July.

FYI - boaters are pretty much the same way, 'cause they KNOW at some time it might be THEM needing the helping hand!! If you have a hard time coming into the dock due to high winds, other people around the docks will run to your aid even if you don't ask. If you signal to someone you need assistance while out on the water, they almost ALWAYS respond to give you a hand - simply because they'd want other boaters to do the same thing for them.
In my experience, boaters are some of the most helpful and sociable folks around - and they are right up there with folks who fly airplanes (although it's kinda hard to snuggle up to and side-tie another plane to bring it home to their dock), with looking out for each other and doing what they can, if they find another of their kind needing help.
The boating community tends to be a VERY HELPFUL community (until you get away from the waterfront).
YMMV!!

Until you decide to leave your berth under sail, but misjudge the space for a jybe... then they'll all be sat on the dock laughing.
(Don't ask me how I know this...

That's just part of the brotherhood.
