Not sure if anyone else is a fan - I hadn't heard of her until very recently, but she's got a very innovative mix of classical violin and techno.
Good videos, too.
Added - The punch line being that I heard of her through a TPS classmate. And neither of us are young whipppersnappers.

YES!!!!!
I could listen to her play Chopsticks if she'd dance while doing it.

Nice. Well Done.
She reminds me of a piano major I used to bang in college. She liked her men sweaty, and I was working a manual labor job in the afternoon. She'd show up at my apartment about five o'clock, just as I was walking in the door. We'd drink a beer, then git nekkid. Funny thing, when I asked her about the wedding ring, she told me that her husband was a psych grad student, and never got sweaty. And she liked to be banged by a hard working man. So, three or four times a week for six months, I'd help her out.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

Saw
Celtic Woman on PBS a week or so ago. The fiddler there is pretty amazing also.
Another from their
website.

That's another one.
Máiréad Nesbitt can start my motor from 40 feet away!
We saw them in Huntsville a couple years ago. The Boss offered me a drool towel before the show started.
I almost needed it!
This does not mean that I'm not totally in love with Allison Krause, who could read the phone book and I'd still buy the CD with or without her fiddle playing.

Being a very late discoverer of YouTube (via the Xbox 360 app), I heard Lindsey Stirling for the first time last year in her music videos. I had meant to start a thread with a review of her CD, but you beat me to it.

Having played the violin myself from age 6 to 18 in large and small orchestras, solo and ensemble, and theater orchestra, I can safely say she has more talent in her little finger than I will ever have...and she can dance incredibly at the same time. Her CD is musical genius, energizing to listen to, and has a regular spot saved in my vehicle CD changer (when my iphone isn't plugged in.) I wholeheartedly recommend purchasing it on Amazon.
Through YouTube, I found the collaboration she did with the a cappella group Pentatonix on a cover of Imagine Dragons' song "Radioactive," which is awesome and IMHO better than the original.
On a side note, YouTube appears to finally be the answer for people with real musical talent to bypass the record company's barrier to entry of radio monopoly and one hit wonders. Thank goodness.
And after hearing the light dubstep that's part of Lindsey's music, and branching out my YouTube searches since I've always been interested in electronica/EDM, I discovered...
The Glitch Mob.

Not being incredibly educated in the art of the violin, how does she compare to
Charlie Bisharat? I'm asking only because I don't know, but I've seen and heard Charlie play (including videos with him in them). If she kicks Charlie's butt to the curb, I'd like to know, since I don't know any better.
