Community Activists Chase Trader Joe's Out Of Ghetto

They tried to shake them down for things that had nothing to do with opening a business and creating jobs in a formerly vacant lot. After tiring of the bullshit, Trader Joe's said "No thanks." The kicker…none of the "activists" even lived in the neighborhood. They were carpetbagger race hustlers that fucked things up for the neighborhood. The people who actually live there are NOT happy. Me? I'm laughing my ass off and thinking thoughts of chickens coming home to roost…

The neighborhood residents should :

A. Call a neighborhood meeting with those organizers and
B. Apply very hot tar, feathers and rails as required and
C. Call back the folks at Trader Joe's

I noticed that among all the pie in the sky demands, they wanted a "slush fund", which is what they were really after, by my guess.

F--- 'em.

They vote for the race hustlers, they smooch the buttcheeks of everyone that appeals to race hustling, so let them use their EBT cards at 7-11 to buy Kool 100s and pork rinds, rather than free range chicken breasts, fresh lobster tails, handmade burritos, and 48 kinds of microcrafted cheese.

Chump don't want da help, chump don't get da help. Jive ass dude don't got no brains anyhow...

Well, EBT cards aren't SUPPOSED to purchase Kool 100s.......... :x

But stupid is as stupid does.
IIRC, Pawpaw once had a minority coworker tell him that although she thought he was a genuine good guy and she liked him, she would never vote for him for a public office because he's registered GOP. Go figure.

I told her that she wouldn't have voted for President Lincoln, either. As a straight Democratic Voter she'd would have voted for Stephen Dougas. She didn't know whothehell I was talking about.

And yet if someone brought in an Aldi, everything would be fine. Aldi is authentic and true po'folk food, you know.

Considering that Trader Joe's is owned by Aldi Nord, literal brother company to Aldi Sud which owns the US chain of Aldi stores, I always have a laugh at people who consider TJ's to be some ultra-snooty store. It's a very fancy Aldi, nothing more.
