007 working for the other side?

Is it just me or does the current 007 wannabe* look more like he's with the KGB than with the good guys? The resemblance is much more striking in the ads I've seen for Quantum of Solace.
(*There's Sean Connery and then there's the wannabes)

Well, Putin certainly meets the psychopath requirement of the books.

There. Had to fix it for you.
Anyone other than Daniel Craig is a cartoon, with Connery being the worst slap in the face to individualists who actually respect women and aren't drunken, assinine bullies.
Let's also forget, Craig's line from Layer Cake was what was used to make him seem like an anti-gun ponce. Meanwhile, Sean Connery himself has supported all manner of US anti-2A causes. Add in the fact that Connery is as dimwitted and boring as my toejam, and really, there aren't many things other than the chicks and the classic cars that make his movies bearable.

Putin looks like he should be stroking a cat while issuing orders to SPECTRE.

Careful. Putin has a "vigorous torso."

From the sound of it, though, he's got a good excuse.

The article didn't really go into specifics but implied he'd been around a real shooting, or had at least seen the aftermath. Being exposed to violence can create phobias, or amplify them, so in cases like this, I'm willing to cut the hoplophobe some slack because there's a legitimate trigger, rather than just indoctrination.

Still - Connery can burn in hell, and all his hack films - including Last Crusade - with his arrogant ass. At least Craig hasn't put any anti-gun stuff out SINCE 2005.
Plus, you have to wonder about the legitimacy of certain British publications - crap rags like the Mirror have tried hatchet jobs on Craig being a pansy or willing to have sex with another man in a Bond film. And looking up OK!, legitimate, and journalism brought up all kinds of "high brow publication" stuff like Brittney's cooter pictures.
