Since that will largely remain out of reach for the vast majority of us, I wonder if an affordable option would be providing trips on high-altitude balloons to the edge of space, such as the balloon which was just used by Mr. Baumgartner.
Pros and Cons?

Pro: cool as hell.

Con: steering.

No!

I want my inflatable intergalactic cruiser and I want it now!
