Trouble with the Curve

Saw it tonight. Good date movie. Got enough sports with enough chick flick elements to keep both sexes happy.
Clint really knows how tell a story -- and act it. Believable performances from Amy Adams, John Goodman and Justin Timberlake as well. The interaction and development between Clint and Miss Adams was excellent. She impresses me more each time I see here. I really enjoyed the interchanges between Eastwood and Goodman too.
Clint and Amy had a father/daughter thing going there working out some baggage and communication/life gaps. Maybe not on Golden Pond Oscar worthy but I'll take it over that commie-fest any day for a father/daughter movie.
Shoot, this one should prolly get both Clint and Amy Adams consideration for Oscars but that'll never happen after the "empty chair." All the more reason to pay to see it in a theater -- there's no revenge against leftists like a free market success story rubbed in their noses.
