I don't know about hating her music (to each their own, etc., etc.), I'll forever remember being 16 years old and stoned with my girlfriend and future wife (getting married at 24), standing in line for a ride at Disneyland in Anaheim, and looking down at the plaza below and watching her perform live. It was such a great performance that the line for the ride actually stopped moving and EVERYONE moved to the rails overlooking the plaza to watch & listen to her perform a couple of her songs. I mean the WHOLE place was transfixed and NOBODY cared that the line for the ride wasn't moving, everyone was too entertained watching and listening to her sing - I think it was [strike]MacArthur Park[/strike] Last Dance or something like that, but it was a LONG song with lots of impromptu performances by the musicians backing her up.Highspeed wrote:Really sad news, even though I hated her music.
