Wow! Just Wow!
one can be a Democrat, or one can choose to be an American.
Good acting requires an imagination; reality requires a person not getting lost in their imagination.

I've got a "Melody Gardot" station on Pandora that I listen to frequently. She has an amazing voice, and the band behind her is great. Wonderful interplay between her voice and the instrumentation.

Go to her website and you can hear more of her songs.

The story of the dark glasses: When she was 19 (in college, IIRC), she was hit by a car. She used music as part of her therapy (in a way I don't remember). Anyway, the accident did something to her eyes and left them very light sensitive, so she's always in the dark glasses.

I could listen to her all day.
Note to self: start reading sig lines. They're actually quite amusing. :D

Her vision is agumented.

Via my passing this link around Ms. Gardot has sold several ITunes albums and at least two CDs. How did we never hear of her before?

Its going to be quiet at end of day here (all my cube-mates are going to be out) so I'll be able to turn on the speakers at my desk and enjoy the last hour at work.
