Yeah, but that's about 496 pounds over his head, EASILY... And, I'm guessing he's only about 280 maybe 290

I was going to say something negative about how useful that talent is in everyday life, but decided against it. After-all, it IS a SIGNIFICANT physical achievement (one I'll NEVER perform), but pushes the human performance envelope that much further.

Not much in the way of Olympic sports, aside from gymnastics, running, and swimming which would be useful in everyday life.

With that said, that level of physical power changes the idea of "martial arts" significantly. Men that strong cannot be put into arm-holds, leveraged, etc.

Why would anyone want to watch that? (It's a bit odd, that there's pressure on the bowels in the bottom position is something most lifters learn pretty early on)

Aglifter: What does putting that kind of strain on your body do to it long term? I note his knees were wrapped. Is it a case of not whether something will go pop, but when?
