The Gun Counter

I mentioned the band Explosions In The Sky in the shooting music thread, might as well write about them here--I ran across their music while searching for Calm Blue Sea, the band behind the music We Happy Few, on the VLT ESO video I posted some months ago. EITS is out of Austin, TX, and they do some interesting instrumental "post rock" music. I got their Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place album, which I liked a lot. Your Hand In Mine is probably the nicest song on the album, here's a Youtube vid (not an EITS official vid, some guy used the music in a film project):

There's another vid on the front page of their site, called Be Comfortable Creature. The music's okay, though the vid's kinda silly, about an alien crashing on Earth and missing his GF.

I like the music, it's thoughtful and mellow for the most part; the drummer is good, he plays an almost martial drum sound at times.
